Ok, so not a very nice title for a first blog, but I am being honest! Last night we had the Fall Festival at church for Halloween. I was super stoked because Ayden would be in his Yoda costume and I was going to get some great pics! And this is where the drama begins...
This one is just for good measure. This was still at the hospital. Love him!
I picked him up from Jennifer's about 5 like normal. Kendall was just getting home when I did, so that was great. He could help me get Ayden ready and to the church on time since I was helping with the games. (I let the kids "Be a Dirk") Once he was ready I grabbed the car keys and went for the camera. Guess what wasn't there? You guessed it..the camera! I remembered uploading pictures while I was at work Tuesday, but now I couldn't find it. This is now the time I dump my purse upside down on the couch and pull everything out of my bag from work. No camera. I am fuming. Of course Kendall tells me that it will be ok. Well, I didn't think so because I had no camera to take pictures of my precious little Yoda. He did convince me to not let it ruin my night, so I didn't.
On my way to work this morning I had to stop for gas. A side note on that, why am I so excited gas is $2.14? Anyway, something said look in the center console. What was there you ask? My camera! So now I am mad at myself for not having the camera last night, but even more upset that it was right by me all along. And yes, you all have permission to laugh at me and call me a moron.
Luckily, my wonderful mother-in-law and sister-in-law had cameras so we were still able to get some pictures. But I am glad I found my stupid camera so we can take some pictures on Friday with all the cousins! Once I have pictures I will put them up. For now you can look at him in his overalls! Ain't he adorable?
