Growing Pains

So, guess who has eaten her first few (or three or four), likes to sit up (though still falls on many occasions), and can offically roll over and back? This girl right here! (And she almost always refuses to smile when a camera is placed in fron tof her)

She log rolled across the living room on Sunday! Ok, maybe not a log roll, but she rolled a few times. She immediately rolls to her tummy when you lay her down, and then proceeds to get highly ticked off. I can't wait until she is mobile, though I can...

The biggest challenge I think will be Ayden's toys. As much as we try, this boy will not pick his toys up all the time! Maybe after she gets ahold of them a few times he will change his ways.

Hope you had a happy halloween...

...since it was about 2 weeks ago! Oh, well! Here are the pictures of the kids. I didn't take too many, as Keleigh was already tired before we began. he made just a few stops during the evening. First came Grandma's house, which Ayden did not want to leave. Anyone surprised? Not this mama...

Second, we went to the high school where the Beta club was have a trunk or treat. I absolutely knew Ayden would not walk up to a stranger's house, and I am not too sure I wanted him to. So I thought this was a good option. There were very few cars, but the idea was still great. Some of the kids really tried to get Ayden to open up and just a couple succeeded. Afterwards, we took the kids to see my grandma at the nursing home. Ayden doesn't like it there and gets very upset, but I knew it would make her day. We met my aunt, Jamie and Kenzie there. The residents were handing out candy to kids so he got a little more loot. Overall, I think it was a successful night. Ayden didn't get much candy, but that is alright with me. He isn't much of a candy eater anyway!
